Shape-adaptive systems for flow control and drag reduction

Stellar AC is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy focused on shape adaptive technology. This includes design and prototyping of high-performance Morphing Structures, Soft Robotics and Bio-Inspired mechanisms with complementary sensor integration, control algorithms and AI as required. 

Typical projects apply cutting edge academic research in adaptive structures and flow control, targeting performance enhancement for existing or experimental aircraft and UXV platforms. Applications range from drag and noise reduction surfaces, bio-inspired appendages to L&R devices and bespoke pneumatic actuation subsystems.

We specialise in collaborative projects working with Academics, OEMs and Tier one suppliers as an extended R&D Team which includes our partner Netherlands company Stellar Space Industries B.V.
